Re: What is the eligibility for IAS/IPS?
You can apply for the Indian Police Service or the Indian Administrative Service by completing the Bachelor of Arts degree. Completing the course from through open university is not going to be issue.
Please ensure that your college is recognized. That is all you require. Then after graduation you can apply for the Civil Services Examination. The selection for IPS/IAS is done via Civil Services Examination. You will have to clear the exam in order to get selected. If you are interested in applying next year then better start preparing as soon as possible. Eligibility 1. You should be Indian citizen. 2. A Bachelor's degree from recognized college. 3. There is no minimum marks criteria. 4. You should be 21 years old to apply. 5. Must be below 30 years. 6. Although OBC can apply up to 33 years. 7. While 35 years is the age limit for SC and ST. 8.
