eligibility criteria for SSC cgl : NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP:- A candidate must be either:- (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India. AGE LIMIT as on 1st January, 2013 Category of posts - Age limit Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts/ Assistant Enforcement Officer/ Compiler/ Divisional Accountant/ Auditors/ UDCs /Tax Assistants/ Junior Accountant & Accountant :- 18-27 years Statistical Investigator Gr.II :- Not exceeding 26 years Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI:- 20-27 years Educational Qualification:- i) Compiler:-Bachelor's Degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject from any recognized University. ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor' s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor's Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor's Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. iii) All other Posts: Bachelor's Degree (Graduation Degree) from a recognized University or equivalent. Mode of Selection:- After the Examination and the Interview /Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test, wherever applicable, the Commission will draw up the All India Merit List for each category of post/State and as many candidates as are found by the Commission to have qualified in the Examination shall be recommended for appointment for each category of post/State upto the number of unreserved vacancies available, taking into consideration option for the posts. The Commission will recommend the candidates in the Merit List on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and interview(wherever applicable) and preference exercised by the candidates in the Application Form for different Posts/States at the time of Tier II/ Interview/Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test depending on the number of vacancies available. |

Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL:-- The aspirant must be an Indian citizen. The age of aspirant must nit exceed than 26 years. The aspirant must hold a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation Degree) from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates will be selected after the Examination and the Interview /Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test. Best of luck....... |

SSC CGL Eligibility criteria is as follows :- 1. A candidate must be a graduate, however if you are in Final year the also you are eligible but you have to produce the marksheet of Final year at the time of submission of document after selection 2. The university from which the candidate is graduating must be a recognized university. You should check the list of unapproved university at UGC site. 3.Minimum Age limit :- You must have minimum 20 years of age on august 1st of the year in which the exam is going to be conducted 4. Maximum Age limit :- You must not exceed 27 years of age otherwise you will not be eligible for the exam 5. Relaxation :- Relaxation is given to reserved category which is as follows :- OBC can apply upto 30 years of age that means 3 years age relaxation sc & st can apply upto 32 years that means they are getting 5 years relaxation 6. No. Of Attempts :- There is no limit and you can try as many times as you want but the only condition is that you must fulfilling the criteria. 7. SSC is Staff Selection Commission and it conducts CGL Exam which is Combined Graduate Level Examination for various posts in Central Government Offices.
Educational Qualification for SSC CGL Exam: Graduation in any discipline is required for most of the posts. For Statistical Investigator and Compiler posts you must have Graduation in Mathematics or Statistics. Age Limit: General Category - 18 to 28 years OBC Category- 18 to 31 years SC/ST Category - 18 to 33 years Those who are PWD category will get 10 years of age relaxation. Examination Pattern: -Objective Type Paper of 200 marks in TIER I -Paper I and II of 200 marks each in TIER II (Those applying for Statistical Investigator there will be Paper III of Statistics). -TIER III will be Skill Test or Interview according to the post. SSC - Staff Selection commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination every year for various vacancies in Government Departments and ministries. It has two levels viz. Tier-I and Tier-II for the selection of right candidate the job. These are Objective type written test which is followed by personal interview and medical test of the candidates. Sir i am 2nd year engg student .... someone told me SSC CGL exam will over after 2 to 3 years no post will vacant after 3 years in SSC CGL..... sir is it true????? i will be graduate after 3 years ???? please reply sir
