Eligibility Criteria :

Degree in Natural Science; Mathematics; Statistics; Geology; Mechanical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Agriculture or Economics.

Age 19-24 years.

Exam Pattern :

Bihar Public Service Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) comprises of two successive stages:

Preliminary Examination: It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination.
Main Examination: It consists of written examination and interview.
Description :

The Government of Bihar has launched an official website to notify various recruitment activities conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The Commission publishes all the recruitment activities, recruitment results, names of successful candidates, schedules and venue of written examination and interview. The commission is responsible for absorption of officers and other posts for the Government of Bihar in several cadre

Those who qualify in the written test will be called for the Personality Test.

The Bihar public Service commission conducts exam for the recruitment of candidates in to the Civil services in Bihar. There is age limit for the candidates to apply for this exam. The candidates should be between 19-24 years. There will be relaxation for the reserved categories. The reserved categories will include the SC/ ST / OBC/ physically handicapped students etc.

BPSC is Bihar public service exam conducted by the bihar government for recruitment into various post. The academic background required for the exam is a bachelor degree is natural science, mathematics. Geology. Civil, etc . And the age limit for the exam is 19-24.
The exam pattern includes two stages preliminary exam and main examination. You can chose subject as per your degree.

BPSC stands for Bihar Public Service Commission.

The age limit for general candidate is 19 to 24 years

Somewhere on internet they page says its 37 and they have given the gov adv as reference.
I mean how can u expect some to be graduate by 19.

Before submitting application form could put it directed envelope and enclosed it with self addressed 2 envelope affix with postal Stamp of RS. 25/- on the super scribed envelope write Application form No compulsory it and hand over it in post office before 5.00P.M on 14th February 2011.
Selection procedure:-
For recruitment pretest will be held by BPSC Patna foe final selection. The first test will be pre Eliminatory test (PT). In PT 140 questions objective 0r multiphase questions will be asked from subjects in general studies (GS). One answer for this question will be correct. In PT syllabus of GS is General Science, National and International current events , Indian history, history of Bihar, and its importance Geographical parts of Bihar, such as important river, Indian Economy , India freedom history, Economy of Bihar and change in it, Indian National Movements and participation of Bihar and General Mental ability consult questions will be asked.
Candidates will be short listed for appearing in Main Examination will have to apply again.
Note:-
In PT minimum qualifying marks for General candidates 40% , for BC candidates 36.5 %, for EBC candidates 34 % and for SC/ST /women will be 32% marks .

For the Bihar public service commission the maximum age for general candidates is that they should not exceed 37 years.
