Assistant Engineer, Bihar Public Service Commission
Bihar Public Service Commission was incorporated in the year 1949 under the Government of India. The commission actually came into existence after its seperation from the commission for the states of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. The commission works as a constitutional body under Acrticle 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission actually started its functioning for the state of Bihar. The commission has its headquarter located at Ranchi. Shri Rajandhari Sinha was the first chairman of Bihar Public Service Commission.
Job Profile:
Applications are invited in the prescribed format are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the posts of Assistant Engineer under various departments of Bihar Government. The posts of Asistant Engineer is available in the field of Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering.
1. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical):
No. of posts: 36 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 37 years of age as on 1 August 2011.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Candidates will be placed in PWD and PHED Departments.
2. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil):
No. of posts: 266 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 37 years of age as on 1 August 2011.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Candidates will be placed in PWD and PHED Departments.
3. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil):
No. of posts: 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 37 years of age as on 1 August 2011.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Candidates will be placed in Animal and Fisheries Resources Department.
4. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Electrical):
No. of posts: 11 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 37 years of age as on 1 August 2011.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Candidates will be placed in Energy Department.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories, are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 350 only. However, C/ST candidates of Bihar are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 125 only. The application fee is need to be submitted in any branch of State bank of India through a payment challan.
How to apply: All interested candidates are required to send the completely filled in application form in the prescribed format only. Candidates are required to send the other required enclosures in support of their application. The envelope containing all the required enclosures should be sent via Speed Post or Registered Post only.
