BPSC - Bihar Public Service Commission is a Publc Service Commission exam and which is conducted for candidates to join in posts of Bihar.

Qualification Needed:

# The candidate appearing for the exam must be a Citizen of India as per the Nationality standard.

# The candidate should have a age limit of 21-37 years of age.There are certain upper age relaxation which is allowed for the candidates.

# The candidate who belong to SC/ST category should have 21-42 years.

# For OBC candidate it is that the candidate should have 21-40 years of age.

# The education qualification states that the candidate appearing for the exam must have completed a Degree and the candidate should have completed a Degree in Degree in Natural Science, Mathematics,Statistics, Geology,Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering ,Chemical Engineering,Agriculture or Economics from a recognized university with a fair percentage.

• History of India and Indian National Movement
• Indian and World Geography
• Indian Polity and Economy
• General Mental Ability Questions

Syllabus for English:

• Spotting the Errors
• Antonyms and Synonyms
• Filling in the blanks
• Use of prepositions, idioms/phrases
• Word analogies
• Test of spellings
• Re-arranging jumbled up sentences
• Comprehension of passage and answering questions based on the passage

The candidates are selected in 3 modes:

1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Exam
