it is the brach of civil engineers which deals with the behaviour of earth materials...it is also useful in mining,petroleum and constructions etc..

geotechnical engineering is a branch of civil engineering..which deals with the earths metals,rocks,soil conditions ,atmosphere in ocean soil and also surface of upper layers.

1.it had wide area of application in construction field like apartments,bridges,palm islands in dubai etc..
2.it had very good scope in aboard..
