Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology undertakes an examination for 06th semester candidates of Civil Engineering in the Geo-technical Engineering paper. The paper has a total of sixty marks and has a total duration of three hours. The question paper is divided into three sections namely Section A, Section B and Section C. Section A has a single main question divided into ten different sub-questions. Each of the questions carries a maximum of two marks. Section B has options. Section B offers five questions, out of which candidates have to attempt any four.

Each of the questions in the Section carries a maximum of five marks. Section C also offers options. There are three questions in the section and candidates have to answer any two. Each of the questions carries a maximum of ten marks. There are no Multiple Type Questions offered in the question paper. Candidates are advised to follow a large number of Mock based questions in order to effectively prepare for the exam and to secure a high marks. Candidates should also go through suggestions as well as previous based questions.
