Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.IAS exam not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation degree. Age Criteria :- 21-30 years for the GENERAL candidates 21-33 years for the OBC candidates 21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services. The Indian Administrative Service is the administrative civil service of the Government of India. Indian Administrative Service officers hold key positions in the Union Government, State governments and Public Sector Undertakings. The Administrative Service is one of the three All India Services. The IAS examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). It has three stages (Preliminary, Mains and Personnel interview) and is considered to be extremely challenging. The eligibility criteria required for the IAS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognized college or university. * Final year contenders are also eligible. * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs. * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders. * Nationality:- Indian. IAS-Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Eligibility criteria:- The application must have to complete graduation or any discipline from a recognised university of India. Final year appearing students are also eligible for this exam. You must be an Indian origin. There is no restrictions to apply this examination. Age criteria and Relaxation details:- The candidates age should be in between 21 years to 30 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection stages:- Civil Services Preliminary Examination, Civil Services Mains Examination, Personal Interview. Preliminary Exam details:- Paper-I 200 marks, 2 hours duration. 1. Current events of national and international importance. 2. History of India and Indian national movement. 3. Indian and World Geography- physical, social, economic geography of India and the world, 4. Indian polity and governance constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, rights issues etc. 5. Economic and Social Development sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector innovatives etc. 6. General Issues on enthronemental ecology, ao-diversity and climate change that don't require subject specialization. 7. General Science. Paper-II (200 marks), Duration 2 hours. 1. Comprehension, 2. Interpersonal skills including communication skills, 3. Logical reasoning and analytical ability, 4. Decision making and problem solving, 5. General mental ability, 6. Basic numeracy numbers and their relations , orders of magnitude etc, Data Interpretation. 7. English Language comprehension skills, 8. Questions related to english language comprehension skills of Class X level will be tested through passages from English Language only with out providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
