Full information about IAS syllabus? Which is the entrance exam? I am in 3rd year B.Tech in CSE stream
this is soumya now i am 3rd btech in the stream of cse.i decided to do ias after completion of my btech for my bright future but i dont know anything about ias??now i need full information about ias syallbus,entrance exams(premlies,main xam,interviews).plz give all information how to prepare which subjects??
i have to must become a collector by doing ias so plzzzzzz give a full idea and guide me...... |

IAS examination is conduct by UPSC once every year. As you know there are 3 stages in IAS selection process which candidate need to qualify for Becoming IAS officer. • Preliminary Examination • Main Examination • Interview Minimum Eligibility for IAS • Graduation in any Discipline from recognized university • Basic fitness level • Age - 21 to 30 years (relaxation for other sc/st/obc candidate) General Candidate have four attempts only for IAS examination (relaxation for other sc/st/obc candidate) With the help of below diagram you will be able to learn about all the 3 stages of IAS examination. Important dates :: Date of Notification:Febrary Date of Preliminary Examination ::May Date of main examination ::October MAIN EXAM PATTERN given for understanding the exam clearly you have to choose two Subjects for your main examination from below given subject list after qualify the preliminary exam (CSAT) . Hello Dear,
Being a 3rd year student of your B-tech you can't apply for IAS exam because completed or appearing final year candidate are eligible so next year when you appearing 4th year exam you can apply for IAS exam IAS exam is also known as CSAT exam this exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year. this exam is being held in three stage prelims mains interview Eligibility criteria for IAS exam is candidate should be graduate from recognized university in any stream. marks or percentage doesn't matter. Age Limit General 21 to 30 OBC 21 to 33 SC/ST 21 to 35 Nationality- must be Indian |

You can apply for IAS examination after completion of your B.Tech. CSE . Hence you must start preparing for it from now onwards so that you are ready for the examination when you apply for it.
The age required for IAS examination is given below for different categories: General Category- 21 to 30 years. OBC Category- 21 to 33 years. SC/ST Category- 21 to 35 years. If you have the above age after completion of Graduation then you can apply for IAS examination. The selection will be based on : -Civil Services Aptitude Test -Civil Services Mains Exam -Interview If your marks in above are high on merit then you will have greater chance of getting selected. following is the eligibility criteria for IAS You need to be citizen of India you should be graduate You should have done your graduation from recognized college or institute you age should be 21-30 Relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC IAS has 3 stages - Preliminary exam - Main exam - Interview For getting a call for Interview, you need to qualify the above two stages You will have to appear for English Language any one Indian language Essay two subjects papers It would be better for you to join any good coaching institute.
