IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service Examination .IAS is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year .IAS recruitment is organized by Civil Service Exam .

If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.There is no marks criteria.Final year student are applicable for IAS Exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be in citizen in India.

IAS Stands Indian Administrate Service

IAS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year

IAS Exam Selection Process based on following three stages

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination

Interview

Preliminary exam will consists of two papers of objective type & 400 marks

Only those candidates who are declared by the commission to have qualified in the preliminary exam in the year will be foe admission to the main examination

Main exam will consist of 9 papers in total comprising of conventional essay type questions

Candidates who obtain min qualifying marks in the main exam as may be fixed by the commission at their discretion , shall be summoned by them for an interview

Interview will carry 275 marks

The candidates would determine their final ranking
