There are various job opportunities for persons who have completed BE. If you have your graduation of engineering,there are two options for you.

Going for Job:-

>> IF you have done with your BE degree,then it is the right time time for you to go into jobs.
Suppose you are from IT and CSE branch as you have not mentioned anything about it, lets say you can work in many MNC companies like

>> IF you are from core branch like electrical and mechanical,civil then you et job easily at state departments,PWD, IFCD department,electricity department etc.

>>You can also write for exam like SSC,IES etc.

Going for higher studies:-

You can go for exams like :

GATE( mtech/me)

GRE/TOEFL/IELTS( for doing MS outside)

You will get scholarship amount of Rs.8000 per month if you have clear GATE this and get a good score.
>> You can also do phd after this for research and project.

After passing B.E you have many option like:-

Dear you have not stated that you are looking for which kinda job as there are many stream in Engineering and you will get the job based on your stream.

You can choose as per the plan of yours and as per the market demand.

I personally don't think that B.E graduate need to study further especially if you have scored well in the course. When I say that I mean around 60 per cent marks or above.

Under such circumstances I don't think there would be any requirement of further studies and instead you should focus on the job. Now I can not pin point the companies to you since you failed to mention the stream in which you have completed the BE course.

In private sector it would purely depend on your stream. Since there is no common entrance exam etc, I can not point out jobs for you. However there are ample opportunities in the government sector that I can explain.


PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKING

The state owned companies that are generally known as Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) are the best option for Engineering graduate. There are over 150 such companies and they belong to different fields. This open job opportunities for candidates of wide range of Engineering stream students.

It is important to understand that there isn't any common entrance exam. You must check out the notification of each company and depending on that you will have to apply for the job.

The basic criteria for the job is almost same in all the PSU companies. I am mentioning that below:


Eligibility

1. PSU jobs are only open for Indian citizens including NRIs.

2. A B.Tech/B.E. degree would be essential to apply for the job.

3. Must meet the percentage criteria of 60% to be considered.

4. Your GATE score may be asked in the company don't conduct written test.

5. Age limit is 21 to 30 years for PSU jobs.

6. Age relaxation is 3 years for OBC as guidelines of GOI.

7. For SC and ST there is maximum of 5 years relaxation to apply.

INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE (IES)

The second good option is Indian Engieering Service exam which is an annual entrance exam conducted on the behalf of central government by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

There are various government departments that also require engineering graduates. The recruitment of these departments is done through IES entrance exam. You can apply for this entrance exam as well. The jobs offered are very prestigious therefore you will have stiff competition to apply for these jobs.


Eligibility

1. IES exam is also open only for Indian nationals.

2. B.Tech degree is the basic qualification requirement.

3. There is not any specific percentage requirement.

4. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on August 1 of examination year.

5. The relaxation is 3 years for OBC while 4 years for SC/ST.

Hello there,

Completing your B.E means that you are graduated. There are oceans full of job after graduation. You can apply for all technical jobs in any IT company like TCS , GOOGLE etc.
If by bad luck or any other reason you do not get job there then you can give any UPSC exam. Banks also offer jobs like BANK PO after graduation. So there are handful jobs after your B.E.
