Dear,

BSc in agriculture is not a normal BSc degree. Its a degree with specialization and requires lots of practical knowledge apart from what is written in books and a desire to learn new things as agriculture field is very large.

After completing you BSc in agriculture there are two options for you:

1. Go for higher education i.e. MSc in agriculture.
2. Go for job

If you want to go for job you can work in many private companies in this field and in some government companies like:

1. IARI
2. ICAR
3. FCI
4. Indian Agricultural Research Institute
5. National Seeds Corporation Limited
6. North Eastern Region Agricultural Marketing Corporation

In these companies you can apply for the posts of:

1. Agriculture officer
2. Assistant Plantation Manager
3. Territory Manager
4. Trial coordinator
5. Technical Manager
6. Agricultural Research Scientist
7. Agriculture Development Officer

You can even go for MSc degree in agriculture if you want to work as a research scientist in organisation like Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA).Private firms like Cavin Kare, Dabur Foods, ITC Limited, etc also recruits candidates with PG degree in Agriculture. Ans PG students also works as research associates in many universities.

In this field you can get salary in the range of 20,000-25,000 which can increase according to your capability and organisation you are working in.
