Re: What are the jobs available for fresh mechanical engineer in PSU
With a valid GATE score and a minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech, you can join as 'graduate engineer' in HPCL. Those with same qualification can apply with BPCL. B.E./B.Tech with minimum aggregate of 65% marks cn join with GAIL India. NTPC, IOCL, etc also recruits candidates with a minimum of 65% marks. Fresh engineering graduates are usually recruited to trainee level positions.

Re: What are the jobs available for fresh mechanical engineer in PSU
As a fresh mechanical engineer, there are several job opportunities available in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). PSUs are government-owned corporations or organizations in India that offer various job roles for mechanical engineers. Some of the common job positions for fresh mechanical engineers in PSUs include:
Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET): This is a common entry-level position in PSUs where fresh mechanical engineers are hired and undergo training in different aspects of the organization's operations. Assistant Engineer: Mechanical engineers can work as assistant engineers in various departments of PSUs, such as production, maintenance, design, or quality control. Junior Engineer: Junior engineer positions are available in PSUs, where mechanical engineers can work in different roles like project execution, supervision, or technical support. Design Engineer: PSUs involved in manufacturing or engineering projects often require mechanical engineers to work as design engineers, responsible for creating and improving product designs. Production Engineer: Mechanical engineers can work in production departments of PSUs, where they handle production planning, process optimization, and quality assurance. Maintenance Engineer: PSUs with large-scale infrastructure or machinery require mechanical engineers to work as maintenance engineers, responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment. Quality Engineer: Mechanical engineers can work as quality engineers in PSUs, ensuring adherence to quality standards, conducting inspections, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. Research and Development (R&D) Engineer: Some PSUs have R&D divisions where mechanical engineers can work on innovation, product development, and advanced research projects. |
