Re: What are the jobs available for me after completing MSc final in Botany with above 60%?
You can apply for jobs in Botanical Survey of India, under department of Ministry of Environment & Forests, etc. Environmental Protection Agency, drug companies, lumber and paper companies, and botanical gardens also provide career openings to M.Sc Botany graduates. You can seek jobs as Plant Taxonomists, Plant Morphologist, Ethnobotanist, according to your specialization area. Those who have flair in teaching can find jobs as Assistant Professor in government colleges. For this they have to qualify NET exam carried out by UGC. One can also find jobs in plant breeding, plant genetics, research firms, etc.
