UPSC Exam For Railways

The best option for you after 12th to get into the Railways through the UPSC Exams would be the SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) Exam

A candidate can appear for the SCRA Exam only if :-

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 17-21 years as seen on 1st August..

>> Candidate must have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as subjects (no percentage restriction)

The examination will be of 600 marks and will test you on the basis of your knowledge of English, Science and Maths..

The SCRA Exam in 2013 shall be conducted on 20th January,2013

The forms for the exam were available from 13th October,2012 to 12th November,2012

For more details on the exam you can visit http://upsc.gov.in

I have also attached some of the previous year question papers of SCRA for your reference..

all the best..

With Warm Regards
Nitz
