i want to become a railway officer after 12 what should i do for it?

To become an officer of high importance in Indian Railways, you will have to appear
and qualify Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) examination.

If you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths. in 10+2 then you can apply for this exam.

The SCRA examination is conducted by UPSC every year.
Very few candidates are selected.
The selected students study 4 year B.Tech. degree at
Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur.
After successful completion of training they are absorbed in Indian Railway as
Special Apprentice Mechanical.
The age limit for the exam is 17-21 years.

If you do not qualify this exam then also you can join Indian Railway at high officer posts
through below mentioned exams.

After Graduation (any discipline)

1. Indian Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC

After Engineering (B.Tech.)

1. Engineering Services Examination conducted by UPSC
2. Sr. Section Engineer Recruitment Examination conducted by Railway Recruitment Board.

My Grand Father was an Steem Engine Driver,
MY Father is an Guard In Indian Railway in MUGHALSARAI DIVISION.
I'am Pursuing my PGDM from Noida.
I had did B.COM from Banaras with 51%
My 10 & 12 marks are 57% , 57% respectively.
After completing of my MBA i wanna join indian railway as a class 1 officer or Class 2 officer.
