The advertisement for UGC-NET June 2012 examination shall be published in March 2012.

Once the advertisement for the exam is published the last date of application shall be known.

Generally, a period of one month (approx.) is given for applying so the last date of
application depends on the date of publishing of advertisement.

For this session NET exam notification is not announced yet.It will be announced in month of March 2012.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

UGC NET consists of three papers

1) General studies (50 objective questions)
2) Your optional paper (50 objective questions)
3) Your optional paper (Subjective questions)

Second paper will check only after qualifying the first paper and third paper will checked after qualifying the second paper.

UGC NET - UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC every year for selection of eligible candidate for Lectureship and for award to JRF(Junior Research Fellowship). Only post graduate candidate s are eligible to apply for NET.

The notification for UGC NET is yet to be published which is generally published in the month of MARCH every year.

So please wait for the notification to know the last date of submission of application form for UGC NET. Don't worry generally one month time is provided for submission of application form for NET.

So be updated with the official web site of UGC i.e. www.ac.in or www.ugcnetonline.in to know the details regarding UGC NET.
