------------------------ Date of announcement :- 12 / April / 2012 . Last date for submitting the application form :- 30 / April / 2012 Date of Examination :- 26 / May / 2012 .  Eligibility Criteria :- -------------------- To apply for NET Exam , the applicant should have a post graduate degree with subject of recognized University or equivalent qualification . The applicant must score at least 55% aggregate marks in their examination and 50% aggregate marks for reserved categories . The applicant age must have attained 28 years and relaxation is given to the reserved categories for Junior Research Fellowship . There is no upper age limits for reserved categories . The applicant should have a minimum 19 years . Those who are appearing in the final year of Master degree may also eligible to apply for this examination but the applicant need to submit the proof the examination before appearing for this examination . The cost of application is 450 /- for General candidates , 225 /- for OBC candidates , 110 /- for SC/ST candidates . The exam consist of three papers and all three paper is conducted in same day .
