IIT JEE Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have fulfill following eligibility criteria

Date of Birth Eligibility Criteria for IIT JEE 2013

The candidate should have date of birth after 1 October, 1988. This is belonging to For General Candidates, OBC and DC. The candidate of SC, ST and PD has some relaxation in date of birth eligibility criteria of 5 years.
They fulfill the date of birth after 1 October 1983.

Minimum Percentage marks in Qualifying Examination: IIT JEE 2012 Eligibility Criteria

General, OBC and DC candidates are required secure the minimum of 60% marks in their Board examination and other qualifying examination.

SC, ST and PD candidates are required to secure minimum of 55% marks in respective examination.

Maximum Attempt for IIT JEE examination: IIT JEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria

A candidate can appear maximum of two times in consecutive years.
This means a candidate who has appeared in jee 2012, can appear in jee 2013 exam.

Important Dates :

JEE Main Onine Application Start Date : 8th Nov 2012.

End date of JEE Main Onine Application : 15th Dec 2012.

Last date to post the Application : 26th Dec 2012.

JEE Main offline Exam : 7th April 2013.

JEE Main online Exam: Between 8th April to 30th April 2013.

Last Date to Register for JEE Advanced : 13th May 2013.

Pay Registration fee for JEE Advanced : 8th and 13th May 2013.

JEE Advanced Exam Paper I : 2nd June 2013 9.00 - 12.00 A.M .

there is no minimum age requirement for iit enterance....i know this because i have given this exam in just 15
