Re: What is the minimum eligibility for bank jobs
Graduation is the basic qualification mentioned for IBPS P.O and clerk. For SBI clerk, pass in 12th with 60% marks is required. These exams cover questions on reasoning, QA, GK, and verbal ability. Exam preparation can be done with the help of reference books. Training under coaching centers will also help students to clear the test.

Well bank jobs can be opted if you are within 28 years for clerical jobs, if you are within 30 years for bank PO or probationary jobs. Now for the former one being a 12th standard pass out is enough. The pass criteria differs from bank to bank, but normally 60% or above in 12th standard will help you there. Now for PO or Probationary Jobs you must be a graduate and it will be better if you have more than 60% in your graduation too. The examination is common for both and that is known as IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection examination. You will have to go through a written examination and a subsequent bank interview to get selected. |
