what is age relaxation for defence personnel in Banking Exam

You can use the relaxation for Ex-Servicemen. Also In many bank opening there are some reservation of seats for Ex-Servicemen

There are two types of jobs which you can see in banks namely

Bank PO
Bank clerical exam

The eligibility criteria differs from bank-bank.The eligibility criteria needed for these two jobs are given below:

Eligibility criteria for Bank PO:

You must be a citizen of India.
You must a age limit of 21-30 years.And relaxation age limit is 5 years for Ex-service men
You must have got a degree from a recognized university with 55% aggregate. for Ex-service men 55% aggregate.
You must know about computers and must have a knowledge on how to operate MS office.

Eligibility criteria for Bank Clerical:

You must be a citizen of India.
You must have a age limit of 18-28 years.And relaxation age limit is 5 years for Ex-service men.
You must have a 12Th from a recognized university with 60% aggregate and for Ex-service men it is 55%.


From this you could know what job you can take and whether you are eligible for it.

OBC ----------- 21 to 33 yrs

SC/ST ---------- 21 to 35 yrs

Defence Personnel - 21 to 33 yrs

Ex serviceman ----- 21 to 35 yrs

for clerk exams there is no age limit found if calculated as per the current policies . An exservicemen can apply at any age.
