The minimum qualification to join Indian Air Force is HSC. The qualification must be obtained with physics and mathematics as subjects. Eligible candidate must be an Indian male. Their age must fall somewhere between 16 ½ and 19 years. Selection is carried out through UPSC’s NDA exam.

can i join Indian Air Force after copleting B.C.A with age of 21?

The Indian Air force is the dream of the every candidates to join. Each candidates want to join Indian Air force After their education.

Indian Air force Eligibility

* Height – Minimum 162.5 cm

* Weight – Should be Correlated

* Leg Length – 99-120 cm

* Tigh – 64 cm

* Sitting Height minimum 81.5 cm

The candidates must have these Physical eliglbity requirements in order to join Indian Air force.

As th education qualification and age concerned now you have completed the Intermediate with Physics and Mathematics but your age limit is crossed the Maximum age limit of 19 years . So you can Not join Indian Air force through the NDA exam.

In stead of NDA exam you can Join Indian Air force through CDS exam. For the CDS exam Basic requirements is you have to clear Graduation from the Recognized college. If you clear Graduation with recognized college then you are eligible for the CDS exam. If you clear CDS exam them you are eligible for the Indian Air force different Branches

** Flying Branch
** Pilot
** Ground Duty
** Technical Branches

The CDS exam is conducted by UPSC. The UPSC conducts the CDS exam every year two times. So you can Apply it after the Graduation

The minimum qualification to join Indian Air Force as an Officer, is 12th standard from Science stream through NDA entrance exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, the exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year a NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

Eligibility Criteria to join Indian Air Force through NDA:-

-The candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate only.
-Should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics from arecognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.
-Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written test followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

For Intermediate (10+2):
if you have +2 (Science) qualification with Physics and Maths you can join as officer in Indian Air Force.

For Graduate:
As a graduate, you can fly into a challenging and rewarding career in the Air Force by applying for the suitable branch.

For Engineer:
As an Engineer, you can soar into a rewarding and challenging career in the Indian Air Force. You can even join the Technical Branch in your final or pre-final year of engineering through the University Entry Scheme. See the advertisement usually published in employment news from time to time.

For Post Graduate:
As a post graduate, you can glide into a challenging and rewarding career in the Air Force by applying for the suitable branch.

Selection in Indian Air-Force is done through three entry modes and these are :-

1. UPSC NDA(National Defence Services).
   
2. UPSC CDS(Combined Defence Services).
   
3. AFCAT(Air-Force Common Admission Test).

Physical Fitness requirements :-

• Candidates minimum Height should be 162.5 cms.
• Candidates weight should be correlated to their height.
• Candidates minimum Leg length should be 99 cms and Maximum up to 120 cms.
• Candidates minimum sitting height should be 81.5 cms and Maximum up to 91 cms.
• candidates Thigh length should not be above 64 cms.

NDA(National Defence Academy).NDA examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commissin) twice in a year.i.e NDA- I and NDA - II.

Indian Navy is one of the wing of NDA. Other two wings are Indian Air force and Indian Army.

Required Eligibility for NDA Examination:

Education Qualification:

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM(Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from a recognized state board for Indian Navy and Indian Air Force exams.

**If you are Arts stream you are not eligible for this Indian Navy.

There is no percentage required for this examination.

Nationality:

You must be citizen of India.

Age limit:

Candidates age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

There is no age relaxation for this NDA exam.

NOTE: Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible for this exam.Female candidates are not eligible for this exam.

Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT is an Entrance test conducted for Selection of candidates in defence sector various branch of Indian Air force(Flying, ground, Technical).

Flying Branch:- If you have completed BE/B.Tech degree then you are applicable for flying branch exam.Your 12th standard subject must be physics and Mathematics .Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years old .

Technical Branch:-If you have completed BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering so you are applicable for Technical Branch exam.Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old .

Ground Duty Branches:-If you have completed in PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects then you are applicable for Ground Duty Branches .Your age should be in between 19 to 27 years old .

## You can apply for Flying branch with 10+2/intermediate qualification & graduates,engineering degree candidates are eligible to apply for all three branches & post graduates are eligible to apply only for ground duty and Technical branches
## Age limit to apply for Flying branch is 16 1/2 to 19 years & for Ground duty and Technical branches is 19-23 years

yes you join in indian army from any specialization where as for indian air force or Indian navy you must have done your intermediate /hsc/12th in maths and physics

having good percentage is not the only criteria,you must satisfy its other conditions like age limit=16.5-19 years
