I have completed my 10 th standard. i want to know what is the lowest qualification for joining indian air force

The Indian Air Force has different educational criteria depending on the category which the candidate wishes to join. A student who has passed Matriculation/ 10th class passed or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Govt recognized school/Boardsin the age of 17-25 years can join the Group Y. The trade for which he will be eligible will be Musician trade. Also it will require that the candidate should be proficient in playing in one of the following instruments: Trumpet /Bass/ Violin/ Saxophone/ Clarinet/ Euphonium /Jass-Drum/ Piccolo/Bass Trombone/ Key Board/ Guitar/ Sarod/ Viola/ Cello/ Contra Bass (String Bass).

For all other groups and trades, the mimimum eligibility criteria is that the candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.

i am a class 12 students and i m very interested in IAF .which subject should i opt for ?

12th class with PCM stream,you can join in Indian Air Force by appear NDA exam.

For this exam,your age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
This exam will held twice in year.
NDA-I exam will held in April month
NDA-II exam will held in August month

but you always go for respect full post
For this post you go for graduation but you able to go
there is some department also there for all category student.
if you are technical back ground student then you
eligible for go technical branch.
but there is also other branches are there like:-

General category

if you join after 10 th then you get job like:-

The minimum educational qualification required is a degree (with Physics and Maths at +2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

If you have completed your B.Sc/BE/BTech with a minimum of 60% marks and have studied Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, you can apply for Flying (Pilot) through Short Service Commission.
The age limit for the same is 19-23 years.

The three branches of the Air force are

• Flying,
• Ground duty
• and Technical branch.

The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions. Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force.

You can join NDA for joining AIRFORCE.. by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is conducted twice a year....

Qualifications: You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

Air Force Wings of N.D.A :-

you can’t apply Indian army without completing 10+2 exam. So the minimum qualification is 10+2 passed.

With the help of 10th standard you are eligible for CONSTABLE department.

1.)Your age has already reached 20 years and the eligibility criteria says that you need to be between 16.5 - 19 years.

2.) The minimum educational qualification required for the Indian Army is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60 % marks.

The minimum qualification required to join the Indian Airforce is 12th pass with more then 60% marks. Your age should be below 20 years. You can join Indian Airforce in two ways one is technical side and another is non-technical side. You can also give NDA exam which is to be conducted twice in a year.

To join any of these streams first of all you need to complete your 12th standard. Also do take the science stream during the 12th standard as this also one of the requirements. Make sure to start preparing for the entrance exams which are conducted. There are quite a few training academies like the Indian Military Academy for those interested in joining Army. If you would like to join the Air Force then you have options like Dundigul. You need to decide which of these is best suited for you. To join any of these streams it is must that you should be physically fit. On clearing the entrance exam you will also need to clear the physical fitness test. Any one disqualified during this stage will be fully eliminated and not eligible to join any of these streams.

the min. qualification to directly join iaf is a graduation degree.also you may try to appear for nda exam straight after +2 but based upon your performance in the exam and interview you will be put on a training of 3 yr duration and then only after successful completion you will be eligable to join iaf.also after engg.degree you can sit for ues exam that recruits in iaf for technical cadre.

Qualifications: You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

This is applicable only to men.

The three branches of the Air force are
Flying,
Ground duty

the minimum qualification is 10+2 after that one can apply for Air force exam , but you don't worry now keep your study continue at least graduation level after which you will get a good post with good salary.

for 10 th level.there are indian air force group y are availble at 10 th standard. Age limit-17 to 25 yrs. Qualification-50%marks obtained in 10 th. Exam-physics,chemistry,math,english. For 12th group-x and all are same.

The lowest qualification for joining in Indian Air force is +2from a recognized university.

The way to join in Indian Air force is that you can do NDA exam,AFCATexam defence service exam.

For NDA exam you must have completed +2 from a recognzied univeristy with physics and mathematics as subjects.

But for AFCAT exam you need to have finished degree from a recognized university.

first step requires is to be graduate of engineering in aeronautical branch..............After you have completed your engineering, you can join the Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme.........your age must be in between 18-28 years.............

Indian Airforce:


Indian Airforce also conducts an entrance examination for recruitment of Airmen in technical trades.
After the examination, a zone wise common merit list is prepared and on the basis of merit,
the candidates are called upon to join. Age limits for this examination is 16 to 19 years and
educational qualification is either 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics or Matriculation or equivalent examination with 60 per cent marks and Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

As you know,
NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

NDA is the academy through which you can get into Army, Navy and Air force wings.
For this you need to appear the NDA Entrance Examination.
This Examination is conducted by UPSC every year.
This Exam is conducted twice in an Year.

NDA Exam is conducted in two modes :

NDA (I) &
NDA(II).

NDA awards you a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science or Computer Science on completion of your training.

Educational Qualifications for NDA :

For Army wing of NDA :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Age Limits :-You must have attained a min of 16 and half years for registering NDA .
You must not exceed the age of 19 years.

You must be an unmarried male .
You must not marry until they complete their full training.
A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training.

So as per the above mentioned statements you are not eligible for NDA.
Because you have not completed your 10+2 and your age might not satisfy the criteria levels.

So first complete your Intermediate with a good score and then you can apply for NDA.

General Science
History, Freedom Movement, etc.

The minimum qualification required for this exam is +2.If you want to join as a PILOT in INDIAN AIR FORCE you need to apply for the NDA exam conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

Physical Requirement:

A candidate should have robust physique and good mental health. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 Cms expansion. Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes.

He should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision chart with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III. Should recognize red and green colours.

Should have sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum 14 dental points. Should not have disease like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocle or piles.
