Hi, as per the new guidelines, all the nationalized banks except SBI will have a common exam and the eligibility for it is graduation.
After the exam, you will get a score card. So as per your score you can apply for banks, whenever they advertise for PO vacancies.

There will be common written exam for 19 bank jobs.

Allahabad Bank,Indian Overseas Bank,Andhra Bank,Oriental Bank of Commerce,Bank of Baroda,Punjab National Bank,Bank of India,Punjab & Sind Bank,Bank of Maharashtra ,
Syndicate Bank,Canara Bank,Union Bank of India,Central Bank of India ,United Bank of India
Corporation Bank,UCO Bank,Dena Bank ,Vijaya Bank,Indian Bank.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (as on 01.07.2011)
A degree in any discipline
Age (As on 01.07.2011):
Minimum: 20 Years Maximum: 30 Years

Last date of registration July 30, 2011

There will be a common entrance exam just like CAT
A score will be sent to you based on your performance in the test
After that banks will call for the candidates upto a certain score
You need not to write for every exam again and again
This exam will be held twice a year

dear friend,

To be Eligible for any Bank PO you needed.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA -

Educational Qualifications-

General Candidates and others - 60% or more marks in class XII*
and 55% or more marks in Graduation or Post Graduation.

Age - Not below 21 years and not above 30 years.

After graduation you are eligible for bank PO exam.
