Dear pal,
civil engineering is the basic civil engineering and all other engineering departments arouse from it . But even now civil engineering is a vast field which includes various departments namely structural, soil mechanics, environmental etc. Civil engineers deal with making the peoples life better . The various masters degree available are Geoinformatics. Structural engineering . Environmental engineering Environmental management , soil mechanics and foundation, irrigation engineering Hydrology and water resource engineering urban engineering remote sensing construction practice and management transport engineering Not all the institution offer all the above course only few course are available in all college. Certain rare course are available only in few standard institution . All the best |

Hello Dear , I am also a Civil-Structural Engineer. Instead of doing B.E. after Diploma if you want to acquire higher education, you better go for a courses which leads you to viable for Infrastructure development with new state of art. I tell my parents that I'm interested in civil engineering.But my parents fear is that whether civil has a lot of scopes like in computer engineering..etc.,so my question is shall I convince my parents for this or continue to study cs????
