Oxford movement was a movement of High Church members of Churches of England which finally developed into Anglo Catholicism. Most members of this movement were associated with University of Oxford.
It was started in 1833 and the originator of this movement were John Henry Newman and Edward Pussey. This movement was also known as Tractarian Movement. For more details about this movement Click here . |
