Re: What is the percentage required to get a job of DSP or ASP?
DSP stands for the Deputy Superitendant of Police. You can become DSP through promotion under state police cadre.
You must know that there is no percentage criteria in bachelor's degree to become DSP. Even if you have passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree you can apply for the entrance exam conducted for becoming DSP. However if you have good marks in bachelor's degree it will enhance your profile during interview. What you need to do is to clear the different stages of entrance exam which is written test, interview and physical criteria. |

For the post of DSP or ASP , It is must to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with good percentile. There is not any restrictions to score any fix marks. However if you score more than 65% marks in aggregate than it will make a good impression during the interview for these posts.

Re: What is the percentage required to get a job of DSP or ASP?
Well to get a job of DSP Or ASP you need to clear enterance exam first, clearing of written exam will take you to another level which is physical fitness test and then interview round. For DSP position you need to work very hard. Firstly, you will be promoted as a police and then accordingly on thr basis of your experience, you will be selected as a DSP or ASP. So there is no requirement of marks as such. But yes, applying for competetive exam for IPS you need to have a Bachelor degree and your age should be within 30 years.
