Re: What is the percentage required in Polytechnic? Which course should I take?
Polytechnic course is also known as Diploma course. The duration of Polytechnic course is 3 years. Candidates who have passed 10th standard or an equivalent examination from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue Polytechnic course.
Candidates who have passed 12th standard or ITI course from a Government recognised institution can get direct admission in second year of Polytechnic course. Admissions to Polytechnic course are based on basis of merit of 10th standard board examination marks or through State level Polytechnic entrance examination. No minimum percentage in 10th standard is required to get admission in Polytechnic course. If you qualify 10th standard in all subjects with minimum qualifying marks from a Government recognised board, you are eligible to do Polytechnic course. |
