Well to get admission into diploma programmes(Polytechnics) you must either be a 10th or a 12th standard pass with certain percentage depending on the eligibility criteria given by the college

Some of the institutes take admission through an entrance test while some take through merit.

hi there are many institute in india and what is your % in 12 and if your family is ready to send you out of delhi then iit instiute is well

For students who are from science stream and would want to continue with technical studies but through diploma courses have many options to consider. They are

Diploma in nursing
Diploma in physiotherapy
Diploma in medical lab technology
Diploma in radiological technology
Diploma in engineering (electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil, chemical, IT etc)
Diploma in ophthalmology
And many more.

Since you have completed your 12th from C.B.S.E background its better that you directly enter the B.tech field directly through the common entrance test.

But if you wish to complete your diploma then you can seek the basics of all the subjects related to ECE.

Engineering will be much easier if you complete the diploma and then get into the stream through CET,but you will be lagging by 2 years from your current class mates.

It was better to opt for diploma after 10th anyways,you have to write seperate entrance test like polytechnic test for entry into diploma.

I suggest you to prefer the government colleges first.There are many colleges but it even depends upon your locality.

U have completed ur 12th and its better to do b-tech than deploma courses .....its a way! I can only tell u its totlly depends on ur choice....

diploma in engineering is a course for the student who have passed class 10. but the entrance examination syllabus and the subject of diploma is so that the student prefer to take admission in diploma after class 12.

as you are from science stream in 12 so there is no problem for you to take admission in diploma. although other stream student also can take admission in diploma.

to take admission in diploma you have to appear in diploma entrance examination. this examination is conducted mainly in March. so you have to appear in this examination and you have to secure good marks. then after counseling you will get chance to take admission in diploma of engineering.

in the examination three paper are there-mathematics, physics and chemistry. if you revise the class 12 syllabus for these subject then it will be more than sufficient for this entrance examination.

there is also one another procedure. directly you may take admission in diploma program if you have good marks in class 10. actually if you have good conduct in any college then you may get that type of seat without appearing in entrance examination.

but i will suggest you to appear in the entrance examination and secure good position and take admission in good colleges. colleges in Delhi is already given in the above post.

Different institutes offering diploma in engineering have different admission criteria.
Some institutes take admission directly on merit basis while others take admission on the basis of entrance exam.

So, first decide the institute from which you will pursue diploma in engineering course, know their admission criteria & then act accordingly.

Yes I'm Ready to go outside .......I don't have any problem in going out ....

I have 62.2% in 12th class ...But i have a problem with physics..I got FT in it ...
So technically i'm passed in 12th but with an additonal subject ...

In physics - 44 (FT) Fail in theory
In Chemistry - 60
In Maths - 33
In Biology - 57
In English - 82
In Physical Edu - 79 ..

Tht's why i'm looking for a Diploma as i can't take admission in B.Tech...

If you are looking for diploma programs then its very simple as getting into diploma programs is very easy but I would advise you to go for degree programs which are more professional and are better for your future growth too. Acc to me, I personally like advertising field a lot and believe that there is huge scope in it too. You can take admission in diploma after completing 10th or 12th. You should have at least 60% overall in 12th standard. If you want to take admission in engineering after diploma that will give you advantages. You will admit in 2nd year directly and you will have 2 degrees.
