Eligibility criteria for Andhra Pradesh Police Sub Inspector Exam :

• You should have a minimum education qualification of Graduation pass out in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Your minimum age should be 20 years.
• Your age should not be above 25 years.
• Your minimum marks in Bachelor degree course should be 50%(For SC/ST/OBC candidates 45%).

Selection Procedure :

1. Written Test(Objective Type).
2. Physical Efficiency Test.
3. Medical Fitness Test.
4. Interview.

Physical Fitness requirements :


A)For Male Candidates -

• Candidates minimum height should be 170 cms.
• Should have the problem of Hydrocele/Piles.
• Minimum chest without expansion should be 80 cms.
• Minimum chest when expanded should be 85 cms.
• Should not have any internal injury/disease in skins/bones/heart/brain.

B)For Female Candidates -

• Candidates minimum height should be 157 cms.
• Candidates should not have any internal/external problems in any body organs.
• Candidates should have good health with good eye vision.

Activities that will be performed during Physical Efficiency Test

1. 100 meters race to be completed in 3 minutes by male candidates and in 6 minutes by female candidates.
2. High jump of 1.2 meters.
3. Long Jump of 3 meters.
4. Push Up and Pull Up only for male candidates.
5. Climbing of 20 meters by male candidates and of 15 meters by female candidates.
