Procedure to apply for NET:

NET stands for National Eligibility test.

This examination is conducted by UGC, twice in a year in June and December Every year. The examination is conducted for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship Post.

This year June NET Examination was already completed and those who have missed to apply for June NET Examination, may apply for this year December NET Examination.

The Notification of December NET Examination is going to be published soon in the month of October. You have to fill the application form of NET Examination Online Only.

The application form fees if Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank. You can download the challan form directly from the official website of UGC.

There is no upper age restriction to apply for Lectureship Post.

There are 3 papers in NET Examination and all are conducted in same day in 2 session. All 3 papers of NET is Objective, no negative marking.

To apply for this examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course and must have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for NET Examination.

NET (National Eligibility Test) exam is conducted by the UGC twice in a year.
UGC NET exam has conducting in two differant categories i.e Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturship.
Eligibility criteria for Junior Research Fellowship:
One should have to complete Post Graduation from a recognised university with atleast minimum of 55% marks.
Candidate should be a citizen of india.
Age limits is 19years to 28years.
Eligibility criteria for Lecturship:
One should have to complete Post Graduation from any recognised university.
Candidate should be a citizen of india.
For lecturship there is no upper age limit and minimum age is 19years.
