MCA is an appropriate option for BCA graduates. Admission to the course is done through entrance exams like AIMCET and NIMCET. Usually candidates with a minimum of 50%marks can apply for AIMCET. NIMCET is suitable for candidates having scored 60% marks in 12th and graduation. Fee details vary with college and such details can be collected from the official portal of the concerned college.

The number of available vacancies for the MCA Program will be limited in colleges. Because of this, the competition will be high at times. As the syllabus for the examination will be different in different institutions, it is advisable that the aspirants don’t follow a similar pattern. They will have to expand their field of study; especially in Mathematics and Statistics. They can attend coaching classes or study on their own. Purchasing come guide books will also help them improve their knowledge. The students also need to have a good practical knowledge in computer.
