Re: What is the qualification for Army GD Technical? I have scored 44% in PCM
Based on 10+2 marks, Technical Entry scheme of Indian Army is conducted for admission of candidates into Indian Military Academy. If you see last few years cut off percentage of 10+2 for shortlisting candidates for Service Selection Board, it has been more than 80%. You have no chance of getting shortlisted for Army GD Technical with 44% marks in PCM subjects.
If you want to join Defence then second option for you is to apply for National Defence Academy examination. NDA/NA entrance examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year for which eligibility criteria is 10+2 and age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam. As you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, you are eligible for all wings of defence. |
