sir , i am a engeering student in 2nd year and i am interested in technical department of indian army.
so you tell me the process of joining the army.

time to time application forms are available for Army, Airforce and Navy. Wait for the forms apply and if shortlisted there will be SSB. There is an alternative as well- Fast track programm

you want to join in army wing in technical department.
for that you have to appear in UES exam..

If you qualify in UES exam then you will be able to join in Indian Army in technical branch.

To appear in UES exam you need to fulfill some requirements..

Eligibility criteria:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field with 60% aggregate from a recognized university.

2.Age should be in between 18-28 years..

3.Candidate must be physically fit.

4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill..
As you are in 2nd year of B.tech course, then you will be eligible to appear in UES exam after two years when you will be in final year of B.tech course, or after passing out..

So, try to complete your graduation first with good aggregate..

To join in indian army in technical department you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Graduation from a recognised university in engineering with 60% marks.

Age limit is 18 to 28years and the relaxation is for the reserved candidates.

The candidate must be physically fit.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.

Final year engineering students also eligible to appear.

So first complete your graduation and then apply NDA exam through UES exam.
