What is the qualification needed to become an SBI bank manager? Can you please provide me with the complete details on the same? Is there any test which we need to clear? It will be helpful if you can answer me back soon on the same. Thank you!

To become Bank Manager of SBI (State of India) there are few eligibility requirements to fulfill they are mentioned below.

Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should have completed their graduation level degree or post graduation degree in any stream with 60% from any recognized university.
- The age limit should be between 21 - 30 years.
- The candidate should have 5 years of experience in banking/ accounting/ finical fields.

Yes, there are few entrance exams which you need to clear so that you can get job as bank manager. The exams are SBI special management executives recruitment exam and SBI management executive recruitment exam. Or
You can first try for a bank PO/ Clerk post. After getting job in SBI with in 2 years of time if you are doing good job then you'll be given post as bank manager.

It is not so easy to become a Manager in SBI. This positions will not be offered to Freshers.

One should have worked for several years in various roles in the Bank and should perform well to get Bank Manager position.

So, I suggest you to make entry into Bank through entry level positions and perform well.

The entry level positions in various banks are
-Clerks
-Probationary Officers

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for these positions is by completion of Graduation.

I would suggest you to apply for PO positions which is better than Clerk and which will offer more salary than Clerk.

Every year SBI will release notification for the recruitment of PO positions.

As per age criteria,
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to apply for this Exam.
-Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.
-Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

Written Test
Group Discussion
Interview
