What is the qualification required to become an Astronaut?


What are the qualifications required to become an astronaut? What should I study after 10th class for it? What are the various exams I has to pass? How can I prepare for it now onwards?

Hellow I m Tatum saini of class 12 my aim is to become an astronaut it is the only dream of my life I don't know that how I will prepare for it and which course is do so please give me a wonderful advice

The Eligible for Astronaut course like ::

--> Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Biological Science, or Mathematics.

--> At list 1000 Hours pilot in command time in jet aircraft . Flight test experience is highly desirable.

--> Abiliti to pass on NASA space physical which is similar to a military or civilian flight physical and includes the following specific slandered

--> Distant Visual acuity - 20/100 or better uncorrected, correctable to 20/20 each eys.

--> Blood pressure - 140/90 measured in a sitting position.

--> Height between 62 and 75 inches.

To become an astronaut aspirant must be bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science or mathematics. Age of candidate should be minimum 18 years. There is no upper age limit.

Astronauts must be intelligent, creative, psychologically stable and physically healthy. Some other requirement for astronaut like-

At least 1,000 hours pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft.
Distant visual acuity- 20/100 or better uncorrected, correctable to 20/20 each eye.
Blood pressure- 140/90 measured in a sitting position.
Height between 62 and 75 inches.
