Must possess a Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical
Science or Medicine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from an University established in India by Law. |

Qualification : B.Pharmacy graduates only can apply for this posts Age limit :18-36 years And there is age relaxation as govt rules So as a microbiology student you are not eligible for DI post If any doubt Visit : www.apspsc.gov.in All the best |

The eligibility for drug Inspector post Qualification : B.Pharmacy graduates only can apply for this posts Age limit :18-36 years And there is age relaxation as govt rules So as a microbiology student you are not eligible for DI post If any doubt Visit : www.apspsc.gov.in Thanks |

Drug inspector exam is conducted by UPSC.This examination is conducted once a year other then UPSC various other states also conduct the examination to select students for the drug inspector post .
Eligibility You should have got degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized university . You should not be less then 21 years and more then 32 years.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students . 5 years in upper age is relaxed for SC/ST 3 years in upper age is relaxed for OBC The examination is done in two phases :: 1.Written exam::It is consist of two papers. Paper-I :: Pharmacy and is of 200 marks and 2 hours duration . Paper-II:: General Knowledge and is of 50 marks and 1 hours duration 2.Interview ::Its a Viva Voce Test for 25 marks. |

Drug inspector is a government sector job . And this exam is conducted by UPSC. This examination is conducted once in a year. Eligibility for Drog inspector ; For this exam You must have got degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology from a recognized university . And age limit for this 21 - 32 years. And age relaxation is 3 for OBC, for SC/ST 5 yrs Selection process ; Written test . Interview |

Drug Inspectors are recruited by State Public Service Commissions.
So you have to apply for the state in which you want to become an Drug Inspector. You must have Graduation in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Medicine with specialisation in clinical pharmacology from a recognised University. The age should be between 21 to 35 years for General Category. Age relaxation is available for other categories according the government rules. The examination will have an written paper which will test your knowledge of Biological Sciences. Then it will be Interview after the written exam. The selection will depend on the marks in the paper and interview. If you have work experience of analytical lab then it will be very good for your selection as an Drug Inspector. So be prepared for the examination if you have the required qualification. |
