B.Sc in pharmacy or else pharmaceutical science is essential to apply for Drug Inspector post. Clinical pharmacology and microbiology are the other subject areas where in candidates need to take up specialization. 21 years is the lower age limit for the same. UPSC Drug inspector is the exam to be attended for this post. On clearing this exam, personal interview is the last selection process.

SSC conducts recruitment for the post of Drug Inspector / Assistant drug Inspector.
Eligibility for Drug Inspector- Degree in Pharmacy or medicine in clinical pharmacology or microbiologist or equivalent from a recognised board. Age should be between 18 - 30 years. Exam Pattern- There are two papers in this exam, having objective type questions - General studies and mental ability One Subject |

Hi friend,
Eligibility Criteria of Drug Inspector: The candidate should be citizen of India. You must be qualified and must posses a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology or microbiology from an university or any college established in India. Age limit is between 18-36 as on the particular year of exam and increase in upper age limit is applicable for reservation candidates. All the best. |

Eligibility for Drug Inspector are:- Candidate should be pass Degree in Pharmacy or medicine in clinical pharmacology or microbiologist or equivalent from a recognised board. Candidate should be an Indian. Age limit:- Age should be between 18 - 30 years. 3 years age relaxation for OBC category candidates and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.
