Qualification required for Drug Inspector? Can B.Sc. students apply for the post?
Hi sir,
I am in B.Sc. chemistry. I like job the drug inspector so please tell me about the qualification required for this. Can i apply for the post? |

Qualification required for drug Inspector is:
One must possess degree in B. Pharmacy. One who has study Medical with specalization in Microbiology can also appear in the test. |

Sorry you are not eligible to get the recruitment as a Drug Inspector.
Eligibility required :- * Candidates must have passed the graduation in the B.Pharma, Microbiology, Clinical pharmaceutical from a recognised university. * Candidates age must be between 21-35 years with the relaxation in the for the reserved category. So you cannot appear for the Drug Inspector recruitment examination. |

Drug Inspector Recruitment Exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.
The candidate needs experience of minimum three years in the field of manufacturing / testing of drug to apply for the post of drug inspector. Eligibility criteria for drug inspector exam are as under:- -The candidate must be a citizen of India. -The candidate should possess degree in pharmacy / pharmaceutical sciences / medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology / microbiology from a recognized university or must hold equivalent pharmacy degree from a PCI approved college . -The candidate must have secured at least 45% marks in the concerned qualifying exam. -The candidate age limit must be in between 21 years to 35 years. There is relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for the reserved category candidates. -Selection criteria : Written test Physical test Viva-Voice Examination Pattern: The exam is conducted for two papers. Exam will be in the form of objective type multiple choice questions . Paper I: Pharmacy for 200 marks . Duration of Exam: 2 Hours Paper II: General Knowledge for 50 marks . Duration of Exam: 1 Hour |
