National Defence Academy
NDA(National Defence Academy)is conducted two times every year i.e
NDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).


AGE LIMIT: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence[SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri].
[/FONT][/SIZE]

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university
Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

Please Note:Girls are not eligible for NDA exam.

Only male candidate who are unmarried are eligible for this exam.

Pass in HSC is the basic qualification for NDA. Applicant must be unmarried male. Age must be between 16 ½ and 19 years. In order to join navy or air force, you should have studied Physics and mathematics as subjects. Applications for attending NDA exam can be submitted through the website of UPSC. UPSC conducts the exam two times a year.

Dear friend NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time NDA-I and NDA- II in a year for three wings.

- Army wings

- Navy wings

- Air force Wings

Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

For Army wings:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings.

For Navy / Air force wings:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board.

There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination .

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam.

Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam.

You should be 10+2 pass in any stream to become eligible for NDA examination.

But you must note that if you have any aim of joining Indian Air Force and Navy through NDA exam then you have to pass 10+2 with Physics and Maths subjects.

If you haven't studied physics and maths in 10+2 still you can apply for NDA exam but you will be only eligible for Indian Army.

The age limit for NDA examination is 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried males can apply for this exam.

Selection Procedure:

-Written Exam

-SSB Interview

-Medical Examination

You must have required physical and mental fitness to get a nod for joining NDA.

Ailments like knock knee, flat foot, color blindness and poor eyesight are not allowed .

Hai,


NDA stands for National Defence Academy.


NDA has three differant types of wings in it i.e

1. Indian army,

2. Indian airforce,

3. Indian naval academy.

This exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.



Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent qualification from a recognized university or board.

Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

Final year exams appearing students are also eligible.

The applicant must be physically fit.

Applicant's minimum age should be 16.5 years and maximum age should be 19 years.

There is no upper age relaxation.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Girls are not eligible.


Nationality:-

The applicant must be a citizen of India,

Or

A subject of bhutan,

Or

A subject of nepal,

Or

A subject of tibetian refugee who came india permanently.


Selection process:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.


Syllabus:-

Mathematics- 300 marks,

General ability- 600 marks.

Total- 900 marks.

Requirements for the exam:

If you want to join Indian Force then you have to fulfill the following criteria;

Nationality: Candidate must be either
The citizen of India
A subject of Bhutan

A Tibetan refugee who came to India before !st January 1962

Academic Qualification:

Note: Candidates who are belongs to commerce stream are only eligible for Indian Army.

To be eligible for the NDA exam you need to complete your 12th with more than 60% froma recognised board/institute.The NDA exam will be conducted by UPSC everey year for the following three wings :
>>Indian Army

well friend nda exam is conducted two times in a year by upsc for the selection of candidates in indian defence sector.
NDA EXAM ELIGIBILITY:
<>you should have passed intermediate from any recognised board.to join in navy and airforce you should have maths in 12th.
<>age limit for the nda exam is 16.5 to 19 years.
<>minimum height required is 152 cm and the required weight is 42kg.

The Examnation of NDA is conducted by UPSC twice in a year to recruits the candidate in army, Navy and Airforce of Nation Defence Academy.The Eligible Candidate apply through online and offline application mode.The eligibility details of UPSC NDA exam given below...

1. NATIONALITY: candidate must be a citizen of India

2. AGE :for the year 2013, candidate born not earliar than 2nd january,1995 and not later than 1st july,1997 are eligible

3. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: 12th pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent exam conducted by state board or university.

4. PHYSICAL STANDARD:Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

Candidate who has resigned or withdrawn from disciplinary grounds from any of the training academy not eligible to apply.

Hi,

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

It is one of the most prestigious and reputed things to crack the NDA exam.

It is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

In order to give the NDA exam , the following eligibilities are necessary :-


1.) 10+2 pass students with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70% are eligible for it.

2.) Only unmarried male candidates are allowed in this . Girls are not allowed.

3.) Age limitation is between 16.5 -19 years.

4.) Minimum height should be 157cm with 5cm chest expansion.

5.) Eyesight should be 6/6 of both the eyes.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy this examination is conducted by Union Public Servce Commission

The exam, which is carried out by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will be held for admission to 130 Army, Navy and Air Force Course and 92 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) for 2013 session.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should:

** Have a XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. Those appearing for the exam can also apply provided they furnish the proof of passing the Class XII exam at a later date as specified by the UPSC.

** Have Physics & Maths in 10+2 if he has applied for Navy & Air Force.

** Be an unmarried male.

** Be between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age.

** Be physically fit.

Exam Pattern

The written test has 2 papers both of which will last for 150 minutes each:

Mathematics: Topics to be covered include Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry,
Trigonometry, Statistics

General Ability: This paper includes English & GK. Questions from Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History & Freedom Movement, Geography and Current affairs will be asked in the GK section.

If you pass stage II then you have to submit the original documents along with photocopy of:-

(i) original matriculation pass certificate
(ii) original 10+2 pass certificate

Scheme of NDA Examination:-
  1. Mathematics- 2.5 hours- 300 marks
  2. General Ability Test- 2.5 hours- 600 marks

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The candidate having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th can apply for all the three wings of NDA but witout having the above subject, the candidate can only be eligible for Indian Army of NDA.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

Intermediate from a recognised board

Any subject in 12th for Indian Army

Physics and Mathematics in 12th for Indian Navy and Air Force

Minimum age - 16.5 years & Maximum age - 19 years

Only male candidates can apply

Candidate should be unmarried

Dear There,

NDA Stands for National Defense Academy. UPSC Conducts NDA examination in the month of April and August namely NDA I and NDA II respectively.

* Eligibility Criteria :

To take up NDA examination a candidate must passed 10+2 / Intermediate or appearing in the same.

Age - 16.5 to 19 years

No age relaxation is granted to any category candidates.

Nationality - Indian

Sex - Male

Marital Status - Unmarried

Fitness - Physical and Mental fit

* The process of selection is as follows:

a) Written Test

b) SSB interview

c) Medical Test

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy

This Examination is conducted by UPSC held twice a year,

Generally in the month of April and September

The course of training is for three years.

NDA have three wings : Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy

Eligibility

>> Age Limit between for 16.5 to 19 yrs.

>>No Age Relaxation facility will given for this entrance test.

>>You can appear Not more then 3 times for NDA Exam.

>>Only boys can apply for the exam.

>>Only unmarried Candidates apply.

>>The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Education Qualification

Candidates wishing to apply for Army wing should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by various state or central boards of India.

Candidates who want to join Indian Air Force or Naval Academy should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

Syllabus




Physical Standard

Minimum acceptable height will be 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force)

For Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern regions of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, minimum acceptable height will be 152.5 cms.

For candidates from Lakshadweep, minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cms.

Height relaxable upto 2.5 cm (5 cm. for Navy) may be allowed where the Medical Board certifies that the candidate is likely to grow and come up to the required standard on completion of his training.
