i hv finishd ma btech in ece.....wch course should i choose next-embedded or vlsi??which is d best?

i m a last year student of ece ,,,,,,,,but i m little bit confuse in joining a cource between .net and embeded system(cortex A8)
because embeddded market in gujrat is less.,,,,,,,
should i choose the ASP.net for get job in future,,,,,,,,?????
please its urgent for me and my future,,,,,,,i m so confuse,,,,,
