Re: Scope for Embedded Systems?
Dear friend
In now a days, there are very wide scope of Embedded Systems, in all the respect of engineering. Because, embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform one or a few dedicated functions, often with real-time computing constraints. So, if you are interested in this course, then you can join any good institute which provides Embedded system trainning. The scope of Embedded Systems are as follows - organize events in the area of ES. Seek co-operation with user and interest groups as well as with ES-oriented groups within IFIP and other societies. Discuss, disseminate and exchange information on ES-related standardization activities. To study and encourage curricula on ES design. Initiate and organize new ES-related activities. |

Re: Scope for Embedded Systems?
Embedded system is one of the best field of electronics and communication and also for CS and IT.
Many companies are working on this technology and have lots of opportunity in this field. Salary is also very good in this field start may weak but after gaining some experience you are on the top . |

Re: Scope for Embedded Systems?
yes, embedded and VLSI offers good job opportunities for electronics engineers. As electronic appliances are becoming smaller and smaller, embedded systems are getting more demanding. Home appliance companies like Sharp, Videocon, Philips all offer excellent job opportunities for engineers and diploma holders in embedded system

Re: Scope for Embedded Systems?
Hello,
Embedded systems is good field for an electronics engineer, this field has good opportunities. One needs to have good knowledge in order to make a career in it. An embedded systems designer needs to be a multidisciplinary engineer with software programming skills and a broad background in electronic engineering. Embedded engineers are involved in creating the technology demanded by society to cater for its needs in consumer goods, medical equipment, transportation, communication and industrial tools. Embedded systems are important in almost all areas of engineering and graduates are likely to be employed in a diverse range of industries with a good salary. So my friend, its definitely a good choice for you, work hard try to get involved in it.You will go great heights. |

Re: Scope for Embedded Systems?
Hey friend, scope for embedded systems is gaining increasing importance in all areas of engineering. It is expected that in the near future ( a decade or so) no technical artefact will exist without embedded information technology. There is a tendency to software oriented embedded systems based on the standardized micro controller cores. This implies that the design of embedded real-time software will play an increasingly important role in this field. as embedded systems in real-time software becomes more advanced, designing such systems will gain in importance.

Re: Scope for Embedded Systems?
Go for vector Institute,Hyderabad for Embedded System Course..It is good and have good placement scope in future.VLSI is also rapidly growing field, but it is not easy to get a job for fresher in VLSI domain.I dont know about Vector VLSI but if u are ready to do hard work and want to make carrier in VLSI go wih Veda IIT.
The first thing is you have to clear their written exam and then they will give u admission.Just strong your concept with Digital electronics is enough to crack the VLSI exam |

Quote:
In today's time scope of embedded system is tremendous. As you have electronics background you must go for this branch. By doing embedded system, you will have the opportunity to work in following area:- Chip Designing Physical Designing Clock tree designing Layout Designing Front end designing But, remember one thing , you must have proficiency over c and c++ languages. Because many aspects of embedded system are based on this programming languages. Present market scenario is good for this branch. Go ahead Best of luck regards. |
