There are several options after completing 12th PCM. If you could have mentioned your interests or at least percentage of marks obtained in 12th board, I would have been in better position to answer your question. Anyway, below are some of my recommendations for you. Please choose whatever you may find interesting.



Engineering

The first option that should not come as any surprise to you would be Engineering. You can do BE/B.Tech course in various branches like:

Electronics and Communication

Computer Science

IT

Mechanical

Civil Engineering

Aerospace

Aeronautical

Chemical

The choice is yours. However Electonics and Communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering are the most preferred options. In order to get admission in a Engineering college you would first have to appear in entrance exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE etc.

IIT-JEE Eligibility

Candidate should have completed 12th from a recognised board.

Your subjects for 12th should be Physics, Chemistry and Maths

He/She should score at least 60 percent marks in 12th.


AIEEE Eligiblity

Similar to IIT-JEE you need to complete 12th with PCM subjects from a recognised board.

Your marks in 12th should be at least 50 percent.

Candidates of SC/ST categorty need 40 percent marks.


IT

Information Technology is a great field to choose if you are not interested in Engineering. There are various courses you can apply for to get job in IT sector. However two best options are B.Sc in Computer Science and BCA.

In these two subjects I would recommend BCA however to get a good job you will also have to complete post graduation course called MCA. If you manages to secure at least 65 percent marks then most major IT companies would be more than happy to hire you.

You meet the eligibility for BCA course. Basically you need to pass Class 12th with mathematics as one of the subjects. You also need around 50 to 60 percent marks in 12th board depending on the university. The entrance exams for BCA are conducted mostly separated by each university.



BBA

If you have managerial skills then BBA is a good course for you. But alike BCA, you would have to pursue MBA course after completing BBA. There are wide range of jobs after completing MBA from IT industry, banking, stock broker, finance etc for the MBA candidate


B.Sc

You can take up various courses in B.Sc like Botany, Mathematics, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry etc. Mostly you would need around 50 to 60 percent marks in 12th board to get admission in B.Sc course. There are various options after completing B.Sc. You can take admission for Engineering course through lateral entry or go for MBA. There is also an option to pursue M.Sc following which you can apply for lecturer job after cracking National Eligiblity Test.


LLB

Becoming a lawyer is also an option for you. Since you have completed 12th, you can go for BA LLB which is 5 years long course. This would save one year comparing to going to LLB after a graduation course. You need to appear in CLAT entrance exam.

BA LLB Eligibility:

You need to complete 12th class before applying for CLAT.

Candidate need at least 50 percent marks in 12th board.

Those from SC/ST need 45 percent marks.

There are so many field , in which you can try your luck..
If you want to be go in the engineering field, you have to graduate in engineering degree such as B.tech\B.e .
There are so many engineering colleges, in which you can take admission , through various engineering entrance examinations like IIT(INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY),
AIEEE(ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION)..
Since, this year, the various engineering entrance examinations get combined to a single entrance exam known as ISEET

You can serve the nation, by joining INDIAN ARMY, through NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY).
Through this examination, one can apply for all the combatant branches of the Indian army,..
i.e.,
INDIAN AIR FORCE
INDIAN NAVY FORCE
INDIAN MILITARY FORCE..

The age limit for this exam is 16.5-19 years..

You must have passed 12th with Maths & Physics for Navy & Air Force

You can also go for B.sc (ag.),B.SC. BBA, LLB, BCA....etc etc..

There are various courses after 12th being a science stream student. Today highest number of career opportunities are for Science stream student. Science stream student can join any course related to any stream. Science stream student can join all courses which the commerce stream student can do. This is the good decision to choose science stream in 11th and 12th.

There is a good scope for MPC stream.For All Higher studies like B.Tech,IAS,IPS ,Indian Army,Air Force the MPC stream should be required.

To write UPSC entrance exam you need the background of MPC stream.

After 12th(MPC) there are several courses in different fields.If you have interest you can do the following courses:

1)You can do engineering in any stream.

2)You can do BCA if u want to make ur career in computer field.

3)B.Sc,M.Sc,BE,Teaching courses etc.

4)BMS/BBA for management line of work after MBA.

5)B.Sc IT-all about making software programs.

6)Mass Media and communication ,you can choose journalism/advertisement/event management etc.

7)Animation (B.Sc).

8)B.Ed,M.Ed (teaching field).

9)Bachelor of Law.

10)Bachelor of Architecture.

11)Also B.Com DEGREE.

There is a lot of scope for the MPC field if you have work hard in 12 standard you have a great future.

Many of the candidates will opt for Engineering course soon after the completion of 10+2 with PCM subjects.

If you are also interested in joining Engineering course and want to see yourself as an Engineer, then you can opt for this course.

You should have scored a minimum of 50% of marks in your 10+2 in order to be eligible to join Engineering course.

Popular Entrance Exams will be
AIEEE
IIT-JEE
BITSAT

In addition, there are some state level Entrance Exams to join this course through which you can get admission for this course in and around colleges of that particular state.

Some of the popular specializations in Engineering course are
Computer Science Engineering
Information Technology
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering etc.

If you are not interested in doing Engineering course, then I suggest you to opt for BCA course at Graduation level.

Once you have done with your BCA course, opt for MCA course at Post Graduation level to have better job opportunities.
