Now I am in 11th class and want to go in astronomy field, I want to know that what i should do for being an astronomer ??

If you want to become and Astronomer then Fist complete your 12th Board Examination in science stream . Then apply for bachelor degrees like , B.sc in Astrophysics / B.sc in Astrobiology / B.sc Astrogeology .

It is an Bachelor degree . The duration of the course is for three years and the course is divided into six semester . There is good scope of Astronomy course in both the private as well as public sectors .

Eligibility criteria :-

-You should complete 12th board Examination in science stream from recognized university .
-You should having the main subjects like Physics / Chemistry / Biology etc..
-You should score 50% percentage of marks in 12th examination and relaxation is given 45% percentage of marks .
-You should also crack the entrance examination with good percentile of marks .
-Some reputed institution may also conduct entrance examination within the colleges .

-Birla Institute of Technology entrance Exam
-Indian Institute of Astrophysics Entrance Exam
-Osmania University Entrance Exam
