If aspiring to become an Marine Engineering after 12th standard then you may apply for any one of the bachelor degrees like .

-B.E in Marine Engineering
-B.tech in Marine Engineering

B.E in Marine Engineering is an bachelor degree . The duration of the course is for four with practical training and the course is divided into eight semester .

Eligibility criteria :-

You should be finished 12th Standard or equivalent examination in science stream with physics and mathematics as a main subject from recognized university . You should score more then 70% percentage of marks in 12th board examination . If you score more then 90% percentage of marks then first preference is given to you at the time of admission .

You should also crack any one of the entrance examination to get admission for Marine Engineering in reputed colleges the entrance examination like , AIEEE ( All India Engineering Entrance Examination ) , IIT JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination ) , MERI ( Marine Engineering and Research Institute Examination ) with good percentile of marks .

The admission for Marine Engineering course is based on the strictly merit list , So you need to score good percentage of marks in Entrance examination as well as 12th board examination . If your score good percentage of marks in entrance examination then you get admission reputed colleges in our country .

The entrance examination for marine engineering is organized at National level for admitting students to various colleges in the country .Candidates who wish to join marine engineering course can take part in the AIEEE .The students can also attend IIT JEE, MERI, IMU CET, AICET, etc. to secure admission for engineering courses.

Eligibility criteria in most of the tests and courses :

Should pass twelfth with PCM
Percentage required is 60% for most of the entrance examinations.
Should submit the certificates at the time of admission.
Age group should be between 17 & 25 years
Apply for the B.Tech Marine Engineering after 12th

After finishing 12th from Science stream you can apply for under graduate course in Marine Engineering for which you have to appear for the entrance examination conducted through AIEEE, IIT JEE and MERI(Marine Engineering and Research Institute) Examination with good percentage of marks.

The eligible candidate should have completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Central/State Board with at least 70% marks in order to apply for under graduate course in Marine Engineering. The selection will be on the basis of percentage of marks secured in entrance exam as well as in 12th standard.

After passing 12th ypu have to qualify the A.I.E.E.E or I.I.T-J.E.E exam etc for Admission in top College of marine engineering..

A.I.E.E.E exam is conducted by C.B.S.E once in a year.

It is a national level exam.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with Physics, chemistry and maths with minimum 50% marks.
> Must be above 17 year and below 25 year.
> Must be citizen of India.
