Re: What should I do next after completing engineering?
One can look forward to a variety of options after completing their B.Tech degree from a recognized University. You can either go for master level courses or can try for a good job according to your interest. M.Tech (in the concerned stream) or MBA is the most popular options selected by students as higher study options. You can also attend exams like IES, or competitive exams carried out by reputed firms like ISRO, UCIL, etc to grab a rewarding career. Apart from this various MNC and other private companies also recruits engineering professionals.

Re: What should I do next after completing engineering?
Hai, you are completed you engineering. You can do job or you can study based on your interest. There are many ways that can go but why you hesitating? .
If you are interested continue your study by writing gate and study M.Tech for two years there you can get better chances for getting jobs. and you can study further PHD if you are interested. If your are not interested then with gate qualification, you can apply for jobs in private sector as well as i government sector also. You can get job with this qualification and if your are not getting job and try to increase your skills and apply for jobs. |

Re: What should I do next after completing engineering?
What you should do now purely depends on whether you want to continue with the studies or take job. You can make a good career with Bachelor of Technology degree alone however if you want to study further M.Tech and MBA are the best options.
But if you want job the best option for the government job will be Public Sector Undertaking. PSU hires almost Engineers from all major branches. Had you mentioned yours, it would have been easier for me to make recommendation. Besides as I said that Public Sector Undertaking is one of the finest options for government jobs. PSU are the companies controlled by the government. You can appear for their separate entrance exam to get job. You should know that while some companies still conduct written test, others have moved to the GATE exam. Therefore you should also appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering. PSU Eligibility 1. Must be Indian national for this exam. 2. Under graduate Engineering degree from recognized college. 3. Minimum of 60 percent marks in it. 4. You should have valid GATE score. 5. The age limit is 21 to 30 years for the exam. 6. Up to 3 years relaxation for OBC. 7. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. Re: What should I do next after completing engineering?
Hai, you are about to complete your engineering. You don't what have to do after that right.
If you are interested to study then continue your study by writing GATE exam. If you qualify in that exam, you can study M. Tech in two years and after that also you can study P.H.D in five years. Other wise you can stop at M.Tech also. If you are not interested to study that means you want to do job. For getting good job, you need GATE qualification. And You can write IES also, if you select in IES then you can get government job. |
