What should be the maximum age limit to apply for B.Ed's entrance exam?


I'm 38 years old now and I have completed my B.Com with 49.57%. I'm planning to do B.Ed now but given my age will I be eligible to appear for B.Ed's Common Entrance Test?

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor of Education.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed course is:

You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Minimum of 50% marks in bachelor's degree is required.

You are not eligible for B.Ed course after scoring 49.57 % marks in bachelor's degree.

There is no upper age limit defined for Bachelor of Education course. Aspirants can apply for course at any age.

Certain requirements for this course:

Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Minimum percentage of marks required in B.Ed is 50%.

As per your mentioned percentage of marks, you are ineligible for B.Ed course.

There is no maximum age limit to pursuing B.Ed course.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

2. You graduation and post graduation marks must hold above 50%.

Every university conducts their own entrance exam for B.Ed candidate selection.

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor of Education.

It is a teacher training course. The eligibility criteria of this course;

Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduates can also apply for this exam.

There is no upper age limit. You should have at least 50% marks in bachelor's degree. You are not eligible for B.Ed course.
