As you know that there are are 19 Public Sector Banks participating in the Common Written Examination conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
Now, the Institute conducts examination for three different posts:

• Probationary Officer
• Clerical
• Specialist Officer

Having qualified written examination for any of the posts mentioned above makes one eligible to apply for the same post in any of the participating banks.
The Banks usually publishes notification for recruitment of qualified candidates into particular post from time to time. In response to such advertisement, candidates who have qualified common written examination may apply provided they fulfill other eligibility criteria applicable for the particular post as per the notification.
Once the application process is over, the banks, on the basis of common written examination score, academic qualification, work experience etc . shortlists candidates for interview and candidates who successfully qualifies the Interview round are selected for the particular post in respective banks.

how will i know notification of these banks

as you mention you have cleared cleark examination so now u can prepare for interveiw....... if you will able to qualify interveiw then you can get job in bank as a cleark....

IBPS result should be published like SSC where individual can see thier ranking and position and how much individual are up and how much down from his rank. It should be clear for bank and also individual

Hi, This is Priya from Andhra Pradesh(OBC) i got 139 marks in ibps clerk my doubt is as i have seen in many po notifications, banks are asking min qualify marks as 105, 116, 125 etc. After applying for banks will everybody get a call for interview for only topper get a call? please clarify my doubt

I have cleared the IBPS clerical exam held on DEC-12 ; I know that next Banks will notify about the interview . But can anyone please let me know where to find these notifications ? Wthr I will get any notification in my mail according to the interview calls ? If there is any site or something where I can register for getting these notification alert or something ,Please suggest that as well ,

Hi Aspirant

IBPS Stands for the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection and they are conducting the exams for the Bank clerk posts as well as for the PO And for the Gramin banks and exams like specialist officer and this is one of the best transparent community also who is working for the 20 public sector banks.

As you said you have cleared the Bank exam with almost 60% marks and the total marks of a bank clerk exam is 250 and it means you got around 150 marks out of 250 which is i can say good but still not good even to get a chance to appear in a interview and you have to try to get good marks and also you have not said in which category as if you are in general than you can't expect something because chances to face interview for general candidates are quite low at this score card.

But the next step is wait for bank recruitment as 20 public sector bank will recruit the jobs only on the basis of this score card and this score card is valid for only 1 year means you have to appear in the exam once again if you will be not able to get the job.

This is the procedure wait for a bank job as they will give the score card what they want and apply according to the score cards.
