The proposal which has been approved by the Central Council has not been approved by the Union Government yet and since there is no official confirmation regarding the status of the proposal, we are unable to provide you any definite information regarding the same. However, as per sources, the amendment is most likely to come into effect in the same year and commerce graduates with 55% marks or above and non-commerce graduates with 60% and above might not need to take the Common Proficiency Test to be conducted in the month of December 2012 and later.
