Requirements of minimum marks to pass CPT in December?
I just want to know requirement of minimum marks to pass cpt in december 2012. Is there any rule of getting minimum 30% in each section to pass Cpt??

Is it compulsory to score 30% marks in each subject to clear ca cpt exam in dec 2012?

But now onwards Passing Marks is Raised to 120? and I also heard that there is no Negative Marking from December 2012 or June 2013?
And also there was no compulsion on 30% in each subject Can i Pass CPT without learning Maths. |

Common Proficiency Test (CPT). Is held through ICAI , which is the foundation exam held twice in a year in the month of Dec. & June . There are two section :-- ![]() Total marks in CPT exam - 200 Marks. Pass marks - 100 Marks There are negative marks-0 .25 marks. Test in CPT includes:

CPT - Common Proficiency Test This Test is conducted for admission into CA Course CPT Have total 200 marks you must score the 50% marks of total marks means the qualifying marks are 100 marks Note: Negative Marks (0.25) for every wrong answer *******all the best******** Regards....... Tash |

guys we have t0 score 100 to clear our cpt exam and not in each subject but in each paper we have to score 30%...means our 1st paper is acc and law and in that we have to score 30%...and in second paper,i.e economics and math in that we have to score 30%.............in each paper we have to score minimum 30 out of 100 and altogether we have to score 100 out of 200....it is for the students who will appear for CPT on dec'2012...

but it is not given in prospectus that 30% in each subject is required and today s.k.sah and iqtedar mallik sir said that 30% is not essential in december exam plzzz teell me what vis essential to pass cpt exam
